12,034kms...165 days...10 countries...2 cyclists...1 cause!

Please help us to send 2 containers of bicycles to Africa...we need to raise another £500 to enable us to send over 700 bicycles to school children and health workers. Please donate, it all helps.

Simon Alston and Craig Northam, two South Africans, cycled from Cairo to Cape Town to raise money for two charities that provide bicycles, and promote their use, in African communities

A new start after cycling across Africa (21 August 2007)
Countless images and faces flicker fast and bright, comfortable in my mind like a favourite old movie, and even memories of tastes and smells compete with the reality of today.

Cape Town ! (6 August 2007)
Craig and Simon made Cape Town on Sunday, 6th August. 165 days to get from one end of the continent to the other, a fantastic achievement.
